Accompanying this release is a Messenger app for Windows 10. Facebook, Messenger and Instagram are each testing a feature that shows notification counters from the other apps and lets you instantly switch between them. There’s also right-hand column for seeing friends’ birthdays, event reminders, and trending topics, and an in-app browser for reading articles from the News Feed. This new application will replace the older Facebook Windows 8 app when it launches later today, though you’ll still be able to use the prior version if you have it installed, says Facebook.Instagram Stories is one of the biggest updates Instagram made to the app last year.Stories are the Snapchat-like videos and images that appear at the top of the feed for 24 hours before they disappear forever. 😉 This month has been an incredible rush of new Instagram Story features, including new objectives in Story Ads, Story location stickers, and Story Links, all of which take Stories from being only good for reach to actually being able to drive real results– including site traffic. Instagram Story Ads rolled out with just one objective: reach.Facebook and Messenger are now rolling out to Windows 10 on the desktop and Instagram is arriving on Windows 10 mobile.
In an age where engagement is critical to keep your customers happy, falling behind becomes a serious problem To solve these problems, Facebook's rolling out an update for Pages that changes the standard "Messages" tab into a redesigned "Inbox".
While brand awareness is essential, these new ad objectives will benefit even awareness more, since users can actually click to your site to learn more about who you are and what you do.
After Facebook’s stellar quarter, which sees users spending massive amounts of time on its mobile apps, including Facebook, Messenger and Instagram, the company announced this morning it’s bringing this popular trio of apps to Windows 10.
Social media analyst Mari Smith first spotted the feature, and Facebook confirmed its existence to Tech Crunch noting: “We are conducting a very small test to make it easier for people to discover and connect with the people and things they care about.
We’re exploring ways to help people switch more easily between their Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram accounts.” The pop-over cross-app switcher appears when some users tap the profile icon in the top corners of Facebook, Messenger or Instagram.
